Phoebe Philo strikes again, I’ve said it befor but it really amazes me how she constantly develops her design without loosing the DNA of the brand. For fall Céline is all about great silhouettes and beautiful color combinations (khaki green, eggnod, navy, grey and deep burgundy), where structured coats and tops meet knee length flared skirts, cozy knits and thigh high leather boots (which seems to be the it shoe of the season). It’s sophisticated and feminin, elegant yet casual, minimalistic but with all the right details. There’s something (yes, just something) about this collection that makes me think about all the things I’ve always been so fascinated by during Nicolas Ghesquière’s time at Balenciaga. Maybe it’s just the undeniable feminine confidence that Phoebe Philo’s women consistently convey. Anyway, for me, this season is flawless.

Jo, visst har man sett det förut. För resort 2012 har Phoebe Philo satsat på att inkludera det som känns typiskt Céline när det kommer till materialval, färgkombinationer, byxmodeller och mönster från tidigare säsonger (läder, kombinationen av vitt och orange, de vida byxorna, sjalmönstret och mönstrade set) men kollektionen känns fortfarande uppdaterad och modern. Jag tycker inte att det gör någonting att man har sett dessa element förut, det är nästan en lättnad att man känner igen det. På något vis känns det mer värt att lägga ner så pass mycket pengar som ett Céline-plagg ändå kostar när man ser att det kommer igen, det blir en investering i ett signaturplagg. Älskar dock den vita looken med den där rocken i marinblått läder och leopardprint. För fint.

Phoebe Philo must have had previous collections in mind when she created resort 2013. This collection feels very Céline and you can see color combinations, materials, patterns and silhouettes from past seasons (the combination of white and orange, leather, scarf prints and wide pants) but it still feels very up to date and modern. I really don’t mind the fact that we’ve seen some of it before, it’s kind of a relief actually. Even if I do love when Phoebe surprises us (which see have done many times but still with her own, very special touch) it kind of gives you that feeling of buying timeless pieces when it’s a brand signature, don’t you think? Investment pieces, so to speak. I love that leo print though, that white look with the navy blue leather/leopard printed coat and leopard printed sleeves on the top is just fierce.

SÅ trött på tighta byxor för tillfället. Ni som följer mig vet ju att jag typ bara har på mig slappa jeans nu för tiden och fler investeringar i den typen av bralla lär det bli. Helst av allt vill jag hitta ett par i läder för att sporta något i stil med looken hos Célines pre fall, gissar jag att just de byxorna inte riktigt ligger i min prisklass så hittar ni något bra alternativ får ni gärna ropa till!

SO tired of tight fitted pants at the moment. You might have noticed I’m quite fond of baggy jeans, well actually, that’s not something new, I’ve always liked a good pair of “boyfriend jeans” but I find myself getting more and more interested in different kinds of baggy bottoms, not just denim. I wouldn’t mind a pair in leather, would’nt mind at all. But I’m guessing that the ones from Célines pre fall is a bit over my budget so if you see any options, feel free to give me a shout!

Är ju inte den som bär svart från topp till tå men älskar detta. De där pösiga skinnbrallorna -mums! Min stil är ju ganska påklädd, jag gillar att jobba med kontraster och allt för tighta plagg går ofta bort. Tycker att looken längst till höger är superfin, älskar det feminina i toppen med volang som kombineras med de löst sittande kostymbyxorna och pumps.

I’m not the type of girl that wears an all black outfit but I must say I really like this. Those loose fitted leather pants -yummie! I often tend to go for  layering and contrasts and don’t like when the clothes are to tight.  I really like the look to the right, that feminin top with a subtle peplum, paired with loose fitted pants and pumps.
